  • Curable Resin Coated Ceramics

For high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) well conditions, a curable resin coated ceramic proppant is often the best solution. Hexion Inc. developed its patented XRT™ proppant product line to perform under the harshest HPHT well conditions. These advanced resin coated proppants provide higher fracture flow capacity than uncoated bauxite, and minimize proppant flowback even under extreme conditions. They also offer superior cyclic stress resistance, improved temperature stability for both extended pumping and storage times, and increased near-wellbore conductivity compared with uncoated ceramics. Fracturing proppant selection is crucial to optimizing well productivity.
