3-Component cycloaliphatic casting system for reaction injection moulding and conventional casting intended for outdoor applications.

 

 

Product Description

EPIKOTE™ Resin 719 + EPIKURE™ Curing Agent 854 + EPIKURE™ Catalyst 100 is a three component epoxy system for liquid injection moulding and other casting technologies with a Tg in the 100 – 105 °C range . As a result of its chemical composition, the system has advantageous processing properties, and also very good mechanical, electrical and thermal characteristics.

 

EPIKOTE™ Resin 719 + EPIKURE™ Curing Agent 854 + EPIKURE™ Catalyst 100 is ideal for use in moulding components of electrical equipment such as power, current and voltage transformers, conduits, post insulators and circuit breaker parts for medium and high voltage use.

Application Areas/Suggested Uses

EPIKOTETM Resin 719 + EPIKURETM Curing Agent 854 + Epikure™ Catalyst 100 should be stored at room temperature such that moisture is excluded and in the original containers tightly closed. Under these conditions the following components can be stored for a minimum of:

 

  • EPIKOTETM Resin 719                        three years from the date of certification
  • EPIKURETM Curing Agent 854            one year from the date of certification
  • EPIKURE™ Catalyst 100                   one year from the date of certification
