EPIKOTE™ Resin 170 

 

 

Product Description

EPIKOTE™ Resin 170 is a low viscosity multi functional epoxy novolac resin for which the typical

epoxy functionality is 2.5. It combines low viscosity and ease of processing with good thermal

stability, mechanical strength and chemical resistance for use in a number of applications.

 

Application Areas/Suggested Uses

EPIKOTE 170 may be used alone or in mixture with other liquid EPIKOTE resins and Heloxy

Modifiers. Typical uses include compositions for industrial coatings, building and civil engineering

industries (e.g. flooring compounds, adhesives, mortars and grouts), composites, electrical

encapsulation, casting and tooling.
