EPIKOTE™ Resin 1001 Solutions (Core)

 

 

Product Description

 

EPIKOTE Resin 1001, a solid epoxy resin produced from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin, is also supplied in solution, details of which are given below.

 

Application Areas/Suggested Uses

Solvent-borne 2-pack coatings (cured with polyamine or polyamide curing agents at room temperature or forced dried) for the protection of metal and concrete. As a modifier in stoving enamels based on acrylic resins or alkyd/melamine resin systems.

Safety, Storage & Handling

EPIKOTE Resin 1001 solutions should be stored at room temperature in conditions such that moisture is excluded, in the original containers kept tightly closed. Under these conditions the shelf life should be a minimum of three years from date of certification.
