EPIKOTE™ Resin 260

Product Description

EPIKOTE Resin 260 is a low viscosity epoxy resin based on a blend of a bisphenol A resin (produced from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin) and a bisphenol F resin (produced from bisphenol F and epichlorohydrin), and containing proportions of a mono-functional and a multifunctional reactive diluent.

The resin has a low volatility and a mild odour, factors which are responsible for its agreeable handling characteristics. As judged by laboratory tests (see Bulletin EK 1.5.11 for a description of the test method) EPIKOTE Resin 260 does not crystallise on storage.

Application Areas/Suggested Uses

The resin is intended for rehabilitation of sewers and pipes. It is preferably used in combination with EPIKURE™ Curing Agent 3203. This system exhibits a long potlife, excellent wetting characteristics and a high mechanical performance.
