EPIKOTE™ Resin 235

Description

EPIKOTE Resin 235 is a low-medium viscosity epoxy resin consisting of a blend of a bisphenol A resin (produced from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin) and a bisphenol F resin (produced from bisphenol F and epichlorohydrin). EPIKOTE Resin 235 contains no diluent. Its principal feature, as determined in laboratory tests is that it does not crystallise on storage. Furthermore, the addition of reactive diluents, e.g. in the production of formulated compositions, has no adverse effect on crystallisation resistance. EPIKOTE Resin 235 also provides good pigment wetting and good resistance to filler settling. (Note: EPIKOTE Resins 235 is one product out of a series. There are other resin blends of similar type; they offer the formulator a choice of viscosity).
