EPON™ Resin 869A

Description

EPON™ Resin 869A is a low viscosity epoxy resin produced from the reaction of Bisphenol F and epichlorohydrin.  It does not contain any diluent or modifier.  Like other Bisphenol F epoxy resins, it has improved chemical resistance and lower viscosity than standard Bisphenol A epoxy resins (e.g. EPON Resin 828). The lower resin viscosity provides good fiber or pigment wetting, and requires a lower level of reactive modifiers in formulations to achieve similar system viscosities and superior mechanical properties.
