kRT

Hexion’s kRT™ proppant is a curable resin coated sand available in 20/40, 30/50, and 40/70 mesh sizes. This economical product provides all the traditional benefits of curable resin coated sand such as proppant flowback control and proppant fines reduction. Additionally, the resin system reduces dust generation during the pneumatic transfer and conveying process, which helps improve health and safety on location.

Typical Applications

Fracture treatments:    

  • At closure stress up to 10,000 psi [69 MPa] 
  • At bottom-hole static temperatures from 130 - 400°F [54 - 204°C]
